Calabar Gallery
Calabar Gallery showcases contemporary African Artists and African Diaspora artists globally. Curated by Atim Annette Oton, each artist selected has work that deals with the complexities of the African experience. Based in Harlem, the work featured is inspired and influenced by black African culture globally with a focus on dynamic ideas about art and society. Work will include paintings, sculptures, watercolors, drawings, pastels, prints, photographs, mixed-media works, and installations.

TewasArt Gallery
Founded in 2019 by Thaddeus Wamukoya, Tewasart Gallery is a contemporary art gallery under TEWASART AND PATRONS, a dynamic online platform and arts consultancy, based in Nairobi, Kenya. With support from our ever-growing network, including local and international artists, curators, and patrons; our mission is to inspire and invest in the growth of contemporary East African art and its artists.
TEWASART AND PATRONS are focused on highlighting and promoting contemporary East African art through organizing pop-up exhibitions, writing, contributing to artistic dialogues, and publishing digital content. Galerie Myrtis was established to utilize the visual arts to raise awareness for artists – known or unknown – who deserve recognition for their contributions in artistically portraying our cultural, social, historical, and political landscapes; and to recognize art movements that paved the way for freedom of artistic expression. To date, the gallery has organized over nearly one hundred exhibitions and has had the privilege of representing the work of Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, David Driskell, Curlee Holton, Jacob Lawrence, Delilah Pierce, Lois MaiLou Jones, Amy Sherald, Alma Thomas, and Charles White.
